Subic Bay is fortunate enough to have its own International Airport, however scheduled flights have not yet begun with most traffic coming from Charter flights. It is hoped that airlines will soon start services to the Freeport as International Tourism grows.
For now the nearest airport is the former US Air Force Base at Clark Field near Angeles City, already linking major Low-Cost Carriers Air Asia, Tiger, Asiana and Cebu Pacific to their home hubs in Singapore, Malaysia and South Korea. Clark is also home to new local airline Spirit of Manila with low cost flights to Taiwan, Macau and the Middle East.
Transfers from Clark can be costly as airport taxis are overpriced. Either go into Angeles and negotiate with a local taxi driver or we can arrange a car to meet you and deliver you to our door. We also have affiliations with a reliable car rental agency in Angeles should you wish to drive yourself. The drive is extremely easy thanks to a seamless link using the new Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway cutting travel time to less than 1 hour.
Major International Airlines are still using the overcrowded airport in Manila, about 3 hours away. Transferring from Manila is much less hassle than in the past thanks to the new North Luzon Expressway, but still expensive since a taxi is really your only option. If you will be arriving in Manila contact us to discuss your transfer options.
The nearest bus link is Olongapo City, just outside the Subic Freeport. From the bus station you will need to get a taxi to transfer to our place.
Whether driving yourself in a rental or coming by taxi, once inside the Freeport it is easy to get to Binictican Heights by well-signed roads. Arriving guests should note that our neighborhood is guarded by Subic Bay Police (not private security) check-points at both ends and they will stop unknown vehicles. Simply advise them you are staying at Binictican Bed & Breakfast on 2nd Street and they will welcome you with a smile.
